About the Role:
North Houston Refrigeration LLC is looking for a skilled Service Technician to join our growing team in Pasadena, TX! This is a hands-on role where you'll be at the forefront of keeping refrigeration and HVAC systems running at peak performance for our valued customers. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and residential refrigeration and HVAC systems
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on refrigeration equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues efficiently
- Complete service calls in a timely and professional manner
- Document service reports, parts used, and work performed accurately
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs, recommendations, and system status
- Ensure compliance with EPA regulations and refrigerant handling standards
Requirements:
- Prior experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or a related service trade
- EPA 608 Certification preferred or required
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions
